Unity Prayer Watch

On August 27, 1872, a Moravian Prayer Union was formed in England as a form of resuscitation of the Hourly Intercession (originally formed in 1727 by members of the Moravian Church in Herrnhut, Saxony).  This provided that, for every hour of the day and night, one of the volunteer intercessors would, for one hour in private, bear on his or her heart and mind the interests and hopes of the Kingdom of God in the world.
